I’ve heard, read, and seen in many interviews given by many famous artists whose mother tongue is not english: Salma Hayek, Shakira, Celine Dion. . . . . all of them said it was not easy to “master” the English language and they all said they believed they already knew English good enough either to record a song or to make a movie for the American public, but then found out they were wrong. Even nowadays not only americans but native English speakers, in general, make funny about their English. Now English is a idf (lingua franca), so for being so easy to handle, then why does it become hard when someone wants to use it as extra virgin do?
