I think that Shakira is an amazing singer. She has a beautiful voice and her songs have good lyrics and deep sense. I was looking for her biography and some facts of her childhood were really sad. She lost one of her older brothers in the age of eight which inspired her for her very first song “Tus Gafas Escuras”. I enjoy Shakira’s video clips because one of her other talents is dancing. In every video she belly dances. I also know that she has started belly dance when she was really young and Shakira was performing in the Catholic school that she went to. She said that she learned how to belly dance to overcome her shyness. Shakira is very kind because she donates lots of money to charity or for special school for poor children. I like some songs like “La tortura”, “Whenever, whenever”, “Underneath your clothes”. Overall Shakira is a really nice person and that’s why I chose her for my project.
